Painting Gifted to Sheen Museum

This captivating painting created by the talented artist Bart Forbes, was generously gifted to our museum by John Alves, a friend of the Fulton Sheen Foundation. It now graces the entrance of the Sheen Museum. Mother Teresa held Archbishop Sheen’s “Life of Christ” book dear, carrying it with her and having her sisters read from it during the Holy Week. Mother Teresa first met Fulton Sheen when she was visiting the United States.
